Historic Preservation Plans

Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri.

At Thomason and Associates, we measure our success by how well we help you prepare your historic resources for a vital and prosperous future.

Federal, local and state agencies call on us for historic preservation plans. We work in urban areas such as Kansas City, as well as in small-town county seats like Jefferson, Georgia. As the U.S. grows, urban cores become denser and developmental corridors expand. As a result, communities large and small need foresight and imaginative historic planning in order to sustain livability and a high quality of life.

We also prepare preservation planning documents for the Department of Energy and the Department of Defense. These include Cultural Resource Management Plans (CRMP), Historic and Archaeological Resource Protection (HARP) Plans, and Integrated Cultural Resources Management (ICRMP) Plans.
